Singapore Grand Prix History
Formula 1 raced in Singapore for the first time in 2008, when Marina Bay Street Circuit hosted the sport’s first-ever night race. The event has since become a staple of the calendar as well as one of the most popular race weekends, with attendances upwards of 300,000. High humidity makes the Singapore race one of the most physically demanding for the drivers.
