Where to Watch at the MADRING
The grandstands around Turn 12, named ‘La Monumental’ offer some of the best views at the Madring, as well as access to the circuit’s largest fan zone. To catch all the action in the pits, plus the race start and podium ceremony, we recommend the Gold grandstands on the start-finish straight.

Spanish Grand Prix History
The MADRING is the latest of six circuits to have hosted the Spanish Grand Prix. Previously held in Barcelona since 1991, the event returns to Madrid for the first time since 1981, when the Jarama circuit just outside of the city was last on the schedule. Michael Schumacher and Lewis Hamilton are the most decorated drivers in Spanish Grand Prix history, having each taken six wins during the event’s tenure at Catalunya.
About the Madring
Formula 1 visited the MADRING for the first time in 2026. In a prime location at the IFEMA Madrid exhibition centre, the circuit is within easy reach of Madrid Airport, in the northeast of the city. Madrid is the historic capital city of Spain, known for its world-class art, stunning architecture, picturesque parks and vibrant nightlife. There’s no shortage of things to keep you busy in between track sessions at the newly constructed, hybrid circuit.
