F1 returns to the ‘Temple of Speed’ for the 2026 Italian Grand Prix (September 4-6). Here’s everything you need to know if you are heading to Monza this year.
The home of the Italian Grand Prix for over one hundred years, Autodromo Monza is one of F1’s most historic and atmospheric race venues. Monza is also the spiritual home of Ferrari and their supporters, the tifosi. Accessing Monza
- Location Map: Autodromo Nazionale Monza
- Driving & Parking: Monza is located around 10 miles north of Milan’s city center. The narrow local roads near the circuit can become congested on race weekend, but there are plenty of parking lots close to the circuit, some within walking distance and others served by shuttle buses. Parking can be purchased via Monza Mobilita.
- Public Transport: The most popular way to get to the track is to take the train from central stations in Milan (Milano Central & Milano Porta Garibaldi) to Monza station. From the station, you can walk to the track in around 30-40 minutes or take the Black Line shuttle service. Integrated tickets including the train ride from Milan and the Black Line shuttle cost €10 per day return and are available here. You can also purchase a separate €13 day return ticket from any station in the Lombardy region to Monza on race weekend, available here. Another option is to take the train from Milano Porta Garibaldi to Biassono-Lesmo station, which is situated at the top of the circuit. Special express trains run on Sunday from stations in Milan. Return tickets only cost €5 and are available here.
- Entrance Gates & Opening Times: Monza has five main access gates (Gates A, B, C, D, G). We recommend checking the closest gate to your seating location before travelling to the circuit. Gate opening times are subject to confirmation for 2026. (Gates normally open at 07:30 on Friday and 07:00 on Saturday and Sunday). Prohibited items at Monza are listed here.
F1 Paddock Club at the 2026 Italian Grand Prix
The F1 Paddock Club at Monza is located directly above the team garages on the main straight, as well as in a new annex close to the pit entry. The Paddock Club offers excellent views of the start-finish straight and pit lane at Monza.
- Finding the Paddock Club, Parking & Shuttles: The main entrance of the Paddock Club at Monza is located on the inside of the circuit. It can be accessed via a pedestrian tunnel near the final corner and pit exit. Guests can enter on foot via Gate A (Vedano). Paddock Club parking is situated on the infield on the inside of Parabolica (P6) with vehicular entry via Gate A (Vedano). Taxis drop off and pick up at the intersection of Via Toscana and Via Dell'Olmo, from where you can take the Paddock Club shuttle to enter the circuit. - Paddock Club Map: Most Paddock Club suites are located on the first floor of the building, where you’ll also find a common Club Lounge area near the entrance. A second Club Lounge is located on the rooftop (covered, but open). Check the map and find your suite here.

Trackside Entertainment at the 2026 Italian Grand Prix
- Fan Zone: The main Fan Zone at Monza is situated on the outside of the track between Ascari and Parabolica, and features a stage for F1 driver appearances and DJ sets, food vendors, merchandise and interactive exhibits (simulators, reaction challenges etc). The full schedule for the Fan Zone at the 2026 Italian Grand Prix will be published during race week and available at monzanet.it and on the ‘Monza Circuit’ app. The Fan Zone at Monza is also expected to be open on Thursday from 2pm to 8pm.
- Food & Drink: Food and drink concessions are located near the majority of the grandstands at Monza. The biggest selection of food can be found in the main Fan Zone. You’ll find standard stadium food as well as pizza and pasta. Most vendors accept only electronic payments at Monza. There’s no limit on bringing your own food into the circuit, though drink containers (metal, plastic, flasks) are limited to 500ml. No glass or larger drink containers or alcohol can be brought into the circuit.

- Download the ‘Monza Circuit’ app for easy access to detailed maps, on-track and fan zone schedules and more useful information.
- Participate in the best ‘track invasion’ on the F1 calendar. Soon after the end of the race, gates at either end of the main straight are opened to allow fans on to the track for the podium ceremony. This is an experience not to be missed, and if Ferrari wins, an experience you are not likely to ever forget!
- Take a walk in the park! Autodromo Nazionale Monza is situated in the heart of one of Europe’s largest city parks. We recommend finding some time to explore the park and surroundings.
- Check out the historic F1 cars, which will be hitting the track for display runs on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. You can also visit the pits area for the historics, near Ascari on the inside of the circuit.
- Attend the ‘Fuori GP’ festival in Monza or nearby towns (Arcore, Biassono, Lesmo, Lissone, Machero, Vedano and Villasanta) on race weekend. This year’s festival runs from Thursday 3 September to Sunday 6 September and features car displays, exhibitions, simulators, DJ and live band performances, activities for kids, as well as bars and food trucks. - If you have some more time before or after race weekend, you can visit the Alfa Romeo museum in the suburbs of Milan. Maranello, the home of Ferrari, is also within easy reach of Milan.
