2026 Austrian Grand Prix
Race Hub
The 2026 Austrian Grand Prix weekend is fast approaching. Taking place on June 26-28, here’s everything you need to know if you’re heading to the Red Bull Ring!
The shortest circuit on the current F1 calendar is arguably also its most picturesque. A historic circuit that first hosted the Austrian Grand Prix in 1970, the Red Bull Ring is located in the stunning hills of Styria and rarely fails to deliver an exciting weekend of racing.
Not secured your tickets yet? The final 3-day grandstand access for race weekend is currently available via Grand Prix Events. Choose from seats located in the Turn 8 Grandstand, or enhance your weekend with tickets to the F1 Paddock Club.
Accessing the Circuit
The Red Bull Ring is one of the most isolated circuits on the current F1 calendar. The closest major city is Graz, approximately one hour away by car. This isolation is probably why the Austrian Grand Prix is one of the F1 year’s most popular weekends for trackside camping!
- Location Map: Red Bull Ring
- Driving & Parking: Depending on where you are staying, driving to the circuit can be a good option. Most trackside parking is free, and the circuit is located close to motorway exits. Expect traffic delays at peak times, especially after the race.
- Public Transport: Bus services to the Red Bull Ring are available from various cities in Austria, including Graz and Vienna. You can also take the train to the closest station, Knittelfeld, followed by a shuttle bus. More information here.
- Entrance Gates & Opening Times: The Red Bull Ring has six main entrance gates (A to F). At the 2026 Austrian Grand Prix, gates are open from 12:00-20:00 on Thursday (June 25), 08:00-22:30 on Friday and Saturday (June 26-27) and 07:00-20:00 on Sunday (June 28)
- Circuit Zones: The Red Bull Ring is divided into three zones. Access to other zones may be restricted. The Blue Zone includes the Steiermark, Red Bull and T3 grandstands, the Green Zone is for the Schonberg grandstand and general admission, and the Yellow Zone is for the Mitte (Center), T8, T9, T10 and Start-Ziel (Main) grandstands.
