Why you should attend the 2026 Singapore Grand Prix
Published by Andrew Balfour on 21 July, 2026
Attend the original F1 night race in Singapore on 9-11 October 2026 with exciting street racing, an F1 Sprint and A-list concerts.

The Singapore Grand Prix offers exciting F1 racing under lights - set against the backdrop of a bustling south east Asian city state - coupled with an incredible lineup of concerts across multiple stages and some of the best trackside organization on the current F1 calendar.
Singapore’s Changi Airport is a major flight hub for the region, trackside hotels are located within walking distance of the circuit (and plenty more hotels are only a short metro ride away), and it’s also easy to extend your holiday with time on the beach in Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam or Bali.
The only downside? None of this will come cheap. The Singapore Grand Prix is one of the more expensive races to attend on the current F1 calendar (notwithstanding the cost of flights), but it does feel like a premium experience!

Why Singapore should be top of your F1 travel plans
Singapore is a true cultural melting pot where you’ll find Chinese, Malay, Indian and Eurasian communities living together. And you know that means that the food will be delicious!
As well as an incredible dining scene - from affordable hawker markets to high-end Michelin star restaurants - the Singapore Grand Prix also offers some of the best nightlife and post-race parties on the calendar!
Don’t forget to leave some room in your suitcase (and your wallet) for shopping! From vibrant street markets to ultra-luxury brands, Singapore is a premier global shopping destination.

F1 Sprint & Concerts Galore
This year’s on-track action at the Singapore Grand Prix will be elevated by F1’s Sprint format, which sees an additional 30-minute race take place on Saturday afternoon.
As always, the organisers have signed up some big-name performers for this year’s Singapore Grand Prix concerts. Acts will be performing across seven different stages throughout the Marina Bay Circuit precinct - don’t forget to check before buying tickets if you have access to the zones you want!
Notable acts performing at the 2026 Singapore Grand Prix include The Killers, Zara Larsson, Lana Del Rey, James Arthur, Janet Jackson, Split Enz, Goo Goo Dolls, Mark Ronson, Majer Lazer Sound System and DJ Snake.
