Here’s all the information you need to know before attending the 2026 British Grand Prix weekend at Silverstone on 3-5 July!
Host of the inaugural World Championship race in 1950, Silverstone returns to host the British Grand Prix for the 60th time in Formula 1 history. The 2026 British Grand Prix will be the latest instalment of action from a track which always seems to deliver great racing.
If you’re yet to secure your race weekend access, the final tickets are available now via Grand Prix Events. Choose from 3-day or single day tickets to some of Silverstone’s best vantage points, including the Hamilton Straight A Grandstand or a selection of hospitality suites.
Accessing the Circuit
- Location Map: Silverstone Circuit
- Driving & Parking: Rurally located,parking space is limited at Silverstone and parking passes must be purchased in advance. Fans are encouraged to use the circuit’s official shuttle transfers from nearby towns and railway stations. Further information can be found here.
- Public Transport: Silverstone operates Park & Ride services from Sixfields, Hinton and Bicester. Tickets must be purchased in advance. National Express and Megabus are the circuit’s official coach partners, running services from nearby cities. Coach services arrive at Gate 3.
- Entrance Gates & Opening Times: There are 12 entrance gates located around the circuit, check the map to see the best entry point for your grandstand or viewing area. Gates open at 07:30 on Friday and Saturday, and at 06:30 on Sunday. Pass outs are allowed - but you must scan your digital ticket to be re-admitted. Last entry is at 21:30 each day.

2026 British Grand Prix Weekend Schedule
There is a packed on-track schedule at the 2026 British Grand Prix. As well as Silverstone hosting F1’s Sprint format for the first time since 2021, Formula 2, Formula 3 and F1 Academy will all be in action, plus there’ll be on-track demonstrations from historic F1 machinery.

- 16:30-17:14: Sprint Qualifying

- 12:00-13:00: Sprint (17 laps or 60 minutes)
- 16:00-17:00: Qualifying

- 15:00-17:00: Formula 1 Pirelli British Grand Prix 2026 (52 laps or 120 minutes)
Trackside Entertainment at the 2026 British Grand Prix
- Fan Zone: The Fan Zone can be accessed via a pedestrian footbridge near the concert area. It is close to the Village Grandstands. Here, you’ll find activities, merch stalls and food and drink stalls.
- Food & Drink:Plentiful food and drink stalls can be found around the circuit. The main food area with the widest selection is close to the main stage.
- Payment: Silverstone is a cashless venue. All concessions at the track, including the megastore, only accept card payments.
- Trackside Concerts: Concerts take place on each day of the 2026 British Grand Prix. This year’s headliners include David Guetta, Richard Ashcroft, Chase & Status and James Arthur. Performances take place on the Main Stage, adjacent to the Wellington Straight. The stage will also feature live podcasts and driver appearances throughout the weekend.

- Tune in to 87.7FM to hear trackside commentary, or use a DAB radio to listen to commentary on BBC Radio 5 Live. Amex Race Radios are also freely available for American Express customers at kiosks around the track.
- A pit lane walk, which requires a separate ticket, will take place on Thursday ahead of race weekend. More information here.
- Inner Track ticket holders can access the Fan Forecourt, located close to the paddock, where the drivers arrive each day.
