2027 Formula 1 Calendar Announced
Published by Nicky Haldenby on 16 September, 2026
The 2027 Formula 1 calendar has been revealed, with 24 races set to take place next year – including the return of the Portuguese and Turkish Grands Prix.

Formula 1 has unveiled its schedule of races for the 2027 season. The 2027 F1 calendar features a record-equalling 24 Grand Prix weekends, beginning with the Bahrain Grand Prix in March and ending, as usual, with the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix in December.
Bahrain and Saudi Arabia are the first two destinations on next year’s schedule, set to return having been called off in 2026. This will be the seventh time that the Bahrain Grand Prix has been the season-opening event, and the first time it has had first race hosting honours since 2024.
Both the Portuguese Grand Prix and the Turkish Grand Prix make a welcome return in 2027 following a six-year absence for both Algarve International Circuit and Istanbul Park. Demand for tickets for the two new events is expected to be high, especially given that they were last held at a time when crowd capacities were limited.
